Calendar of the Soul

Here is the next pair of Calendar of the Soul verses for this week (#26) and its polar opposite (#27). These are the Michaelmas verses and they constitute the second crossing point of the lemniscate for the year. The first crossing point is the transition from verse (#52) to verse (#1) which is Easter Sunday.

It is only at this crossing point , which happens twice a year, that we meet with our brothers and sisters "down under" in Australia, New Zealand, etc. At all other times of the year, we are travelling on the opposite "lobes" of the lemniscate.

So, Happy "Easter" you lovey blokes and sheilas down under!

filled with anticipation,
stirs within me---

so that I will find myself
by observing myself
as the gift of the summer sun,

incubating in the mood of autumn,

of my soul forces.
